The High Court Ball puts on a unique fantasy ball at least once a year where guests can immerse themselves in an enchanting, fantasy-themed environment that envelops that particular event’s theme.
Guests are encouraged to participate in themed activities, peruse the vendor market, meet with other fellow fantasy-lovers, and dance the night away in a realm of fantasy.
-
The Eternal Spring theme drops the attendees in a faraway place where Spring has become eternal by blending floral elegance with fantasy elements. The High Court Ball staff also affectionately call the theme “glam cottagecore”.
We hope that everyone thinks of the event’s theme while crafting their ensembles, but we understand that the unique aesthetics of each person is what helps to create such a diverse and fun atmosphere.
-
Each event has been set in a variety of enchanting venues ranging from the Huntsville Botanical Garden’s Nichols Arbor Venue for our “A Villainous Affair” event to the Westin’s ballroom for the “Eternal Spring” event.
-
This will be an 18+ only event. There will be no exceptions made for persons under the age of 18 years old at this time.
Additionally, alcohol will be served to those 21 years old and older, but IDs will be checked when purchasing alcohol.
-
We request that all attendees come in “fantasy formal” attire or “glam cottagecore” – whether you plan on dressing like a prince and princess, a fairy, or a pirate and mermaid, we can’t wait to see what creative ensemble you have conjured!
All guest outfits range from elaborate to simply inspired outfits. It is completely up to your comfort level. Even though we have a very colorful theme this year does not mean that you must dress within that theme… We recognize that we have plenty of dark fairies among us and we would be honored if they made their appearance.
If you’re struggling to find inspiration, please visit the event’s Facebook page for visual aids and/or check out the newsletter we’ll send out via email later on to ticket buyers.

Overall, we do not have strict restrictions on attendees bringing their own camera and documenting the night. as long as it is respectful to the other attendees.
Please see our baggage policy for restrictions on camera bag size and try to avoid bringing an exorbitant amount of equipment.
Keep in mind, we will have a professional photographer at the event to capture portraits and candids.

Not this time! For this event, we are hoping that attendees can embrace their uniqueness, create their own personas, and not feel confined to a specific court. We do have “House” Sponsors who will be hosting special activities in their individual areas, but it is not a requirement to participate in these activities and participating in the activity does not require that you belong to that particular House. New this year – we will have prizes for the best dressed of the night and randomized interactions that could win you something fun!
If you’re sad about losing the courts and gameplay – don’t worry! While this event does not have sanctioned game play with prizes or require choosing a court, we haven’t totally ruled it out for future events.
-
Yes! The event will be held indoors at the Westin Huntsville. The building is enclosed and is fully equipped with A/C throughout the space. There will be additional spaces outdoors for photos and lounging, but they are optional.
